Dubrovnik Adventure

This blog post is about a romantic and adventurous day with my husband in Dubrovnik.
This is us:

Hold on, we will get to that point, let me start from the beginning.

We are situated on the peninsula Peljesac for summer vacation. That's about an hour car ride to Dubrovnik. I'm sure most of you have heard of it, as many consider it to be the jewel of Croatia.
We had some business in Dubrovnik, and decided to add a little pleasure by exploring a bit, but in a different way, since we had visited city walls many times before.
The star of this blog post is our divine turquoise tunic:

After lunch we decided to visit Srd, the mountain just behind Dubrovnik. It is not heigh, but offers a beautiful view on Dubrovnik and islands.

The next view was on island Lokrum...

Let's see how big a fan of "Game of Thrones" are you? 

In Game of Thrones, Lokrum is turned into Quarth, the 'Queen of Cities', which is located on the continent Essos.

Moving forward...

On the top of the Srd mountain is nice caffee bar where you enjoy a little shade, cool breeze, cold drinks, sweet cakes and the amazing view. 

And a buggy adventure as well:

My husband dusted me completely, figuratively and literally, but it was fun, I recommend it! We visited the old Napoleon fortress which is in pieces now, but still nice to feel a bit of history under your feet.
Many amazing views and laughs. The laughs are from my husband to me for my driving. Go figure?
