5 days Pinterest challenge > DAY 1

There is no case study for small businesses that have 0 budgets to spend on Social Marketing for Pinterest, or there is, but we just didn’t look hard enough to find it. That’s great, since now we have enrolled in our own challenge in which we can’t wait to learn from our mistakes.

That’s the peak of the mountain, possibility to learn from your own mistakes… or we will nail it? That’s another possibility too ;)

That’s us!
Kelli will participate with her private account, and I will participate with Watermelonski, business account, fijuuuuu, this business sounds so fancy :)

The goal is that every day we create 4 new boards, each board with 15 pins in it and find 5 persons, in Kellie’ case, and 5 businesses in my case to follow for 5 days.
Why those numbers? Never ask a woman why…they just sounded right!

Day 1
This is Watermelonski dashboard before the challenge:

It is very modest one, extremely modest :)

3 boards, 27 pins, 2 followers (that’s probably Kelli and my private Pinterest account, LOL) and 5 following.

These are Watermelonski boards:

All set, let’s do it; I will create 4 new boards with 15 pins each, and find 5 businesses to follow…

Few hours later…

Created boards:

1.       Inspiration > something that I will definitely need on my journey

2.       Book quotes > I love to read, so this one is always handy

3.       Jewelry > I am not that much into jewelry, but let’s see how it would look if I were

4.       Entrepreneur > this is great collection of articles that keep entrepreneurs on track

Which pins are on the boards, check here.

Businesses to follow:
1.       Tony Robbins > he is always welcomed
2.       Neil Patel > he must be here for a big deal
3.       BellaBeat Leaf > just love it!
4.       Gerson Institute > healthy living, do I need to add anything else?
5.       Purple Clover > I love to smile

Amazing nature of Mljet

Who doesn’t like to travel to new places?
I know we like to travel (We in this blog refers to my husband and myself).
This is a story about another beautiful place you have to visit when you are in Croatia; it is about the island Mljet and National Park Mljet.

I am a fan of geocaching, which, if you don’t know, is a little treasure hunt game played all around the world and a great way to explore new places, so, of course, we used the opportunity to find one right after we sailed in the port Sobra:

Please note how chic you can look in a Watermelonski tunic while geocaching :)

Here is one view of the lakes that are on the island Mljet - National Park Mljet. People usually rent bikes, but it’s a nice walk around the lakes as well:
The nature is amazing!

And it’s so comfy to wear a Watermelonski tunic, of course I love wearing them all the time and can’t resist a chance to brag on them just a little… but they’re great! When you get hot, you take the leggings off, and when you get hotter, you jump in the lake and enjoy then throw it back on when you’re done.

If you can’t see how I enjoy myself, here is a better look:

Let’s get back on track, exploring the island Mljet… we took a short boat ride to a little island on the big lake (Yep, it’s an island ON an island! How cool is that?) called St. Maria. Check me out; getting there and looking amazing after swimming in the lake (talking about modesty):

Beautiful island St. Maria:

After leaving the National Park and relaxation, we decided to visit Odysseus cave where, legend has it, he saved himself after being seduced to the island and shipwrecked.  He was eventually captured and held for 7 years by the nymph Calypso, who ruled the island that time.

We came to Odysseus cave by land, using very steep stairs in the middle of a scorching hot summer day when the temperature was over 40˚C (104˚F). We were walking in just our swim suits, and looking like we had just hopped out of the shower but not feeling quite as fresh.
You can understand that at that point of time we were not thinking of taking any pictures but only how  to cool down. Here are some pictures I found on the internet, outside view:

Inside view:

It is a very beautiful place, just to sit and listen to the music of the sea. In the tunnel the currents are constantly mixing so you swim without moving, that was cool! Besides the view you get to enjoy the exercise as well :)

View of Odysseus cave from the sea:

After the the cave we decided to end our Mljet adventure with a panorama view of one of the most beautiful ports on island Mljet, Prozurska port:

The more I enjoy life (read: the older I get) the more I appreciate nature and inner peace. Nowadays, I smile at things that would have irritated me before. Not all of them of course, but I see progress. And it amuses me how aware I am of my thoughts and actions :)

I guess everything comes in time, precisely when one is ready to receive.

My vacation is not over yet; hope you’ll like the next blogs that are coming soon: Dubrovnik adventure and Broce peace.
